A Song About Overcoming The Covid-19 Coronavirus Crisis + FREE GIFT!

While music is my passion in life, as someone who has experienced the downs of severe illness, as well as the highs of miraculous recovery, I’ve developed a second passion in life for sharing what I’ve learned about overcoming the darkness of adversity.

I’ve done literally years of research on the subject, interviewed many people who have overcome “impossible” health challenges, and I myself have been interviewed by numerous news organizations.

I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned, so that you can stay well during this pandemic…

During this Covid-19 Coronavirus lockdown adversity horror, it’s easy to feel worried, stressed, discouraged and even numb to all the bad news, BUT scientific studies have proven that keeping our spirits up is crucial, because allowing positive hormones (called endorphins) to circulate within our bodies actually improves our immunity.

You may have noticed that the subjects we write about are all various explorations of the human condition, and overcoming adversity.

There is no greater darkness we face in the world today than this pandemic.

So we created This Town, a music video where we gathered people from 43 countries worldwide to inspire everyone to come together against COVID-19. We’ve overcome challenges before, many times, and in the video there is visual PROOF of people overcoming…

Just look at Martha Davis, the 97 year old star of our music video, living in a Massachusetts nursing home, who survived COVID-19. She is an incredible survivor!

This Town is another song off our upcoming album, entitled Fall Down Seven Times, Rise Up Eight.

The album is appropriately named to promote our nonprofit community website. RiseUpEight.org, where people from all over the world share their inspiring stories of how they have overcome challenges in life…

Like Bedros Keulilan’s story. Bedros was homeless, an immigrant child looking in dumpsters for his next meal.

Fall Down Seven Times, Rise Up Eight.

Today, Bedros is not homeless nor hungry. He is the Founder and CEO of the successful business franchise, Fit Body Boot Camp.

Sujan Pariyar, from Nepal had to survive a civil war and natural disasters in his native country.

Fall Down Seven Times, Rise Up Eight.

Sujan Pariyar Rise Up Eight

After overcoming the challenges of natural disasters and Civil War, he and his family started a school for underprivileged and orphaned children which Sujan now runs. The school offered (and will offer in the future) volunteer vacations to Westerners who are willing to help the children.

What these stories teach us is that anyone can achieve the impossible…..

Below our This Town music video, I’ll share what you what I’ve learned from these people about how anyone can overcome terrible challenges in life

Though the COVID-19 Coronavirus may be the toughest challenge in our lives, it doesn’t mean that we have to succumb to it. It only means that we need to persevere through it, as we have done many times in the past.

I started RiseUpEight.org after coming back from the brink of bankruptcy, while being faced with near permanent blindness, chronic kidney disease, and other health challenges… SERIOUS SH*T!

As I’ve interviewed many people around the world about overcoming adversity for our website, one common thread keeps appearing. It is that going through adversity makes us stronger,  and builds in us the resilience that we will need in the future.

HEY! IT”S REALLY TRUE! As I’ve interviewed these people from all walks of life, we ALL agree that we wouldn’t be where they are today if not for the adversity we faced in the past.

This is why my personal slogan is…
