Fall Down Seven Times Rise Up Eight Album 2020 release

Our first new music in a decade… The new album, Fall Down Seven Times, Rise Up Eight will be released early 2021, with the first music video, This Town coming out October, 2020.

You may be wondering what we have been doing all these years, LOL.

Well, unfortunately, I had some health issues to deal with, including nearly losing my vision permanently, and other health related adversities, but miraculously, I overcame all challenges, with the help of some great medical practitioners and alternative therapies.

Organically, this road led us to create our nonprofit website, www.RiseUpEight.org, where for the past few years we’ve been sharing stories people all over the world who have overcome adversity, like I did.

We have been creating an incredible community of people to help inspire everyone during this time of great challenges to our health and well-being.

We’ve decided to name the album, Fall Down Seven Times, Rise Up Eight to promote the website. The message being that no matter how many times we experience setbacks, can always rise again. The human species is one of great adaptability and resilience.

Our belief is that by sharing the stories of people overcoming challenges in life that it can empower those who feel powerless.

What I’ve learned through my own experience of encountering adversity is that no matter what challenges we face in life, we can overcome them. As I always say, don’t look at adversity as the enemy, look at it as your ally, because it will mold you into stronger being. Learning the art of resilience is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself, and those around you.

Indeed, everyone I’ve spoken to on the website who have shared their own personal stories from all over the world concurs. In fact, we also all agree that without going through the challenges we faced, we would not be where we are today.

We would not be able to look back on it and say that I learned something valuable from the experience that I can share with others to inspire them to never give up.

And that’s the point of all this. To be able to help others who might be in the same situation.

So the album will reflect on these situations. It will also highlight the challenges we face today, touching upon social change, economic inequality, overcoming bullying, global warming and climate change.

Those who have heard the previewed tracks call it “sociopolitical music”.  Others have said we should call it “psychological rock”.  We do know that we are mixing genres together, so whatever it is, we hope it touches you.

Our goal for this album is to be able to make some kind of difference in the world. Exactly what that will be is yet to be determined. It may be nothing or it may mean something to someone out there, and if it’s just one person then it’s worth doing.

We will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the United Way’s COVID-19 Worldwide Community Response and Relief Fund to help fight the pandemic. The rest of the funds collected will help support our nonprofit website, RiseUpEight.org, where we can continue to inspire people to carry on no matter what the circumstances.

Okay, enough talk! You can soon download free music from the album and get a taste of what’s coming. We think you’re really going to dig it!
